1 What does the bunker service include?
The bunkering service includes the refueling of ships with marine fuels and the supply of food and drinking water for the crew.
2 How are ships refueled?
Refueling can be carried out either directly at the berth using pipelines or tankers or on the open water using special bunker vessels.
3 What is offshore bunkering?
Offshore bunkering refers to the refueling of ships outside of port areas, i.e. on the open sea.
4 What safety precautions are necessary when bunkering?
Particularly high safety precautions are in place to prevent marine fuels from entering the water.
5 Where are marine fuels traded?
Marine fuels are traded via the MB Energy Group in Germany.
